Jasmine 3 Domestic Shorthair Senior Female for sale in Hampton, Virginia

Jasmine 3's story
Ive been waiting for my forever home since March 2015.
Jasmine is a sweet but misunderstood  girl. She came to us as a very overweight and upset kitty. She stopped eating soon after she arrived to the shelter. With patience and trust she began eating again and her sadness began transforming into new found hope. When she wants attention and you are not giving it to her  she will rub against your legs and meow. She is talkative and very playful with laser light toys. You can often find her in the shelter rolled over on her back meowing with her belly exposed! With her change in diet environment  and a more active lifestyle she has slowly started losing weight--although she still has a ways to go. Jasmine was surrendered to us because when the children would "play with her" she would get upset with them. We have not seen these behaviors with her around visiting children but we still recommend for her to go to a home without small ones.
Update: Considering Jasmine's weight we would recommend her to be on a grain free canned food diet for the rest of her life. Currently Jasmine is eating Purina Pro Plan grain free canned food.
Location:

We have the online adoption application or you may fill out a paper application in person at The Cat Corner location. We do not do "same-day adoptions". Thank You For Choosing to Adopt!!
As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.
